After Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, were spotted in Los Angeles late last week, rumors swirled that they may be in town for the 98th annual Academy Awards.
The Oscars ceremony took place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on March 15, just a few miles from The Bird Streets, the private club where Swift and Kelce were seen dining.
Attending the actual ceremony or walking the red carpet seemed unlikely, as the famous couple has kept a relatively low profile over the past few months. In addition to Kelce announcing his return to play for his 14th season in the NFL, and the record-breaking success of Swift’s latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” they are busy planning their upcoming nuptials.
Their wedding is set to take place before training camp starts at the end of July, according to ESPN’s Nate Taylor.

However, fans hoped to see the pop star and Kelce pop up at one of the after-parties. While the 14-time Grammy winner managed to fly under the radar on Sunday evening, photos of Swift entering one of the A-list parties emerged on March 16.

Swift was spotted making a stealth entrance to Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s after-party at Chateau Marmont on Sunday night. DeuxMoi posted photos of the “Opalite” singer exiting her vehicle and into the party. According to Page Six, Kelce was by her side.
Other celebrities who made it to the famed West Hollywood hotel for the big bash include Best Actor winner Michael B. Jordan, Best Original Screenplay winner Ryan Coogler, nominee Timothee Chalamet, Austin Butler, Vin Diesel, and more, TMZ reported.
Page Six noted the couple also went to Madonna and Guy Oseay’s yearly after-party: “Spies at the bash tell us that the superstars mostly hung at Madonna and Guy Oseary’s party at the famed manager’s home, which is known is as the most exclusive and off-duty party in town for A-Listers.”
Two years ago, Swift and the 11-time Pro Bowler stepped out for Gucci’s official afterparty. Known as “The Party,” the event was held at Oseary’s home.
“They were on the patio and in great moods,” a party guest told People at the time. “She had a very happy, giant smile. He was protective of her and she was delightful and glowing — they seemed very happy together and loving the night.”

Swift is Kelce’s biggest fan and loves watching him play. During a guest appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” while promoting her latest album, Swift revealed that she’s way too into the game to even think about doing the Super Bowl halftime show.
“Here’s the thing,” she said. “We’re always able to tell (Jay-Z) the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.
“That is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous. The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field. Can you imagine if he’s out there every single week putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be. I think we should do two verses of ‘Shake it Off’ into ‘Blank Space’ into ‘Cruel Summer’ would be great.'”
