During a Friday, January 30, appearance on the “Today” show, Savannah Guthrie asked Kylie Kelce whether she thought a wedding could happen this year.
“Oh, I don’t know,” Kylie replied, laughing as Guthrie continued to press.
When Guthrie asked again if she truly didn’t know, Kylie said, “I have no idea.”
Guthrie referenced Kylie’s “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” podcast and joked, “You’re not going to lie?”
“Yes! I’m not going to lie,” Kylie answered before adding one clear takeaway: “But we are so excited to celebrate, though, we can’t wait.”
The Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end and Swift announced their engagement last August, with reports revealing Kelce created an elaborate proposal at his Leawood, Kansas, home that included more than 2,000 flowers.

Wedding buzz also picked up after talk show host Graham Norton confirmed he received an invitation to Swift and Kelce’s upcoming nuptials.

Multiple reports suggest the wedding could take place in Rhode Island, where Swift owns a home, with June 13 rumored as a possible date.
Christine Mandese, identified by The Providence Journal, via the Kansas City Star, as a luxury wedding florist in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, estimated Swift could spend up to $1 million on flowers alone.
That would translate to anywhere from 100,000 to 1 million flowers.
“If they see large tractor-trailer refrigerated trucks around, that must be a sign,” Mandese told the outlet. “I would do this wedding for any reason in any place.”
