Coulibaly had 20 points (7-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 112-101 loss to the Bucks. Coulibaly added to his recent surge Saturday, stuffing the stat sheet and recording his first double-double of the 2024-25 campaign with 20 points and 11 boards. After enduring a brutal cold spell, Coulibaly is now averaging 19.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.4 three-pointers per game across his past five contests. The 20-year-old former No. 7 overall pick should continue handling substantial minutes for the 4-22 Wizards, and while Coulibaly is unlikely to stay this hot all year long, he should remain a strong source of defensive stats as well as decent production across the board for fantasy managers.

Latest Wizards News
Bilal Coulibaly : Continues surge Saturday
Malcolm Brogdon : Stumbles in move to first unit
Brogdon had five points (2-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes during Saturday's 112-101 loss to the Bucks. While Brogdon rejoined Washington's starting lineup Saturday, his move back to the first unit didn't lead to much production in the box score during a poor shooting night. Brogdon has now started nine games this year, and he's averaging 14.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.8 three-pointers in 24.0 minutes per contest as a member of the starting five. It's unclear if head coach Brian Keefe will keep Brogdon in the starting group in the future, but the 4-22 Wizards would figure to have some incentive to showcase the 32-year-old veteran guard a bit moving ahead, as Brogdon's expiring contract makes him a potential trade candidate for contending rosters later this season.
Jordan Poole : Catches fire from downtown
Poole totaled 26 points (8-19 FG, 8-13 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 36 minutes during Saturday's 112-101 loss to the Bucks. Although he turned the ball over a game-high seven times, Poole caught fire from three-point land with eight triples and led the Wizards with 26 points Saturday. Over his last nine games, Poole is averaging 21.6 points, 5.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 3.8 three-pointers per contest. Giveaways and subpar shooting efficiency could remain a problem for the 25-year-old combo guard while Kyle Kuzma (ribs) remains sidelined, but Poole shouldn't struggle to put up points and treys for fantasy managers as Washington's clear-cut top option on offense going forward.
Carlton Carrington : Back to bench Saturday
Carrington is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Bucks. Carrington will head back to the bench with the return of Malcolm Brogdon to the starting unit. The rookie out of Pittsburgh is averaging 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.8 steals per game when coming off the bench in 2024-25 (eight contests).
Malcolm Brogdon : Jumps into starting five
Brogdon is part of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Bucks. Brogdon played 27 minutes Thursday in his first game back from a four-game absence due to a hamstring injury. He'll take another step forward Saturday by replacing Carlton Carrington in the starting lineup.
Kyle Kuzma : Won’t suit up for Saturday
Kuzma (ribs) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Bucks. Kuzma will miss his ninth consecutive outing due to a left rib sprain. With the 29-year-old forward sidelined, Kyshawn George, Justin Champagnie and Corey Kispert will likely see increased roles. Kuzma has been ramping up his workload during practice, though there is no clear timetable for his return.
Jonas Valanciunas : Efficient off bench
Valanciunas closed with six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds and four assists across 15 minutes during Thursday's 123-114 victory over the Hornets. With Alexandre Sarr returning to the starting lineup, Valanciunas has received a decreased role as Washington's backup center. Valanciunas is averaging 15.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 blocks in 25.0 minutes across his six starts compared to 10.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 17.7 minutes across his 19 appearances coming off the bench.
Alex Sarr : Swats three shots in victory
Sarr produced 19 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-8 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks across 33 minutes during Thursday's 123-114 win over the Hornets. Sarr has now scored double-digit points in five straight outings. While the rookie big man is still struggling with his efficiency on the season, he is shooting 40.9 percent on 4.4 three-point attempts per contest over that stretch. Sarr is still raw in his scoring ability, but his average of 1.9 blocks per game this season displays his elite rim-protection upside.
