UPDATE – The Xbox One will officially launch on November 22, 2013!
So we all know the PS4 is arriving in the States on November 15, 2013. But what about that console’s main competitor, Microsoft’s Xbox One? According to Kotaku, we may have a clue when the Xbox One is finally arriving – November 15, 2013. Kotaku took a screenshot of a Wal-Mart conference call document that lists a bunch of video game related items. Kotaku’s source works with a marketing company that deals with the product placement for Wal-Mart, so this rumor may have some merit to it.
Do you guys think Microsoft is making a smart move be releasing the Xbox One a week before the PS4? Do you believe this release date is legit?

In the meantime, check out these Day One Xbox One game bonuses (courtesy of Game Informer). These bonuses will also be available to gamers who buy these game digitally within the first two weeks of the console’s release:
- Forza Motorsport 5 is getting a “Day One Car Pack.” It includes the 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe, the 2013 Ford Focus ST, and the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. Each comes with a Xbox One Day One themed livery, which you can see in the gallery below.
- Dead Rising 3 comes with a couple of throwback costumes. The Frank West outfit comes with his zombie slugger and custom skills. It also boosts melee damage and survivor health. The Chuck Greene outfit comes with the paddle saw and perk boosts for vehicle and weapon durability.
- Finally, Ryse: Son of Rome gets the Legionnaire’s Trust sword and the Ruins co-op map. The Ruins map can be played by those that don’t have it if invited by a Day One user.
In order to build up the Xbox One’s hype, the console will be making an appearance at PAX Prime 2013 (August 30, 2013 – September 2, 2013. The Xbox One games that are listed below will be playable at the upcoming gaming expo:
