Moniak went 2-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and a walk in Sunday's 11-6 loss to Atlanta. Moniak went deep twice, unloading a 422-foot two-run laser off Aaron Bummer in a lefty-lefty matchup in the fourth inning before adding a solo shot in the eighth inning off Tyler Kinley. The outfielder remains red hot, as he's now up to four multi-homer games in 2026 and carries a 16-game hitting streak. Overall, Moniak is slashing .327/.374/.724 with 11 homers, six doubles, 21 RBI, 19 runs and a stolen base across 27 games.

McKenzie Moniak: Breaking News
Blasts ninth homer
Moniak went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored Friday against Atlanta. Moniak singled and scored in the first inning and then blasted a leadoff homer -- his ninth long ball of the season -- one frame later. He also extended his hitting streak to 15 games, during which he's hit .368 with four homers, nine RBI and 11 runs scored. Moniak has at least one RBI in three straight contests and has been one of the most productive members of the Rockies' lineup to begin the campaign.
Taking seat against southpaw
Moniak is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports. The Rockies kept Moniak in the lineup for Wednesday's 13-2 win while southpaw Brandon Williamson started for the Reds, but the left-handed-hitting outfielder will exit the starting nine Thursday while Cincinnati sends another lefty (Andrew Abbott) to the bump. Colorado will run out a starting outfield of Jordan Beck, Brenton Doyle and Troy Johnston from left to right in the series finale.
