Leben Leads List Of Official Payouts For Ultimate Fighter Finale

Former Ultimate Fighter contestant Chris Leben leads the list of official salaries from last Saturday’s “Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale” event in Las Vegas.

Heavy.com today received the official salaries from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Leben earned an event-high $95,000 for his victory over the formerly-undefeated Aaron Simpson. Leben, who was considered a heavy underdog going into the bout, stopped Simpson via TKO in the second round. He was awarded a $25,000 Knockout of the Night bonus on top of his contracted salary.

The evening’s second-highest earner was Keith Jardine, who took home $80,000. Jardine earned a $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus for his co-main event loss to Matt Hamill.

Each of the “Ultimate Fighter 11” contestants earned a base salary of $8,000 with an additional $8,000 to win. Season champion Court McGee was awarded a $25,000 Submission of the Night bonus, bringing his total payday to $41,000.
