A middleweight match up between Demian Maia and Alan Belcher, along with a lightweight rematch between Matt Wiman and Mac Danzig were made official today by Spike TV officials, who confirmed the UFC will air another “Fight Night” on Spike TV later this Fall. Now, the four fighters set to compete on the main card have some company.
Lightweights Gleison Tibau and Jim Miller will face off on the evening’s main card, alongside fellow 155-pounders Ross Pearson and Cole Miller. The fights were made official earlier today. The two lightweight bouts join the previously announced bouts, Maia vs. Belcher and Wiman vs. Danzig, on the main card of the night, completing the televised card.
“UFC Fight Night 22” is set for September 15 in Austin, Texas and is headlined by the aforementioned bout between former 185-pound top contender Demian Maia and fast-rising Alan Belcher. The main card will be broadcast live and free on Spike TV. No preliminary bouts have been declared official at this point in time.
