Branch enters UFC on Versus 3 fray
Dave Branch has replaced Alexandre Ferreira and will face Brazilian submission machine Rousimar Palhares at UFC on Versus 3.
Sources close to the fight informed Heavy.com of the news on Wednesday morning.
Branch last competed at the Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale, earning a decision victory over Rich Attonito. He enters the bout with Palhares on a two-fight winning streak.
Palhares lost to Nate Marquardt in his last bout at a UFC Fight Night in September.
Ferreira was forced to withdraw from the bout after losing several friends and family members due to recent flooding in Brazil.
