UFC 132 numbers are in

Last weekend’s UFC 132 drew 13,109 fans and earned a live gate of $2,304,500.

HeavyMMA.com received the numbers on Friday afternoon from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The numbers are very close to what the promotion reported following the event, stating that just under 13,000 were in attendance for a live gate of 2.3 million.

UFC 132 served as the promotion’s annual Fourth of July weekend show and featured Dominick Cruz‘s successful title defense against rival Urijah Faber, along with Chris Leben‘s devastating knockout win over Wanderlei Silva. The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Also on the card, Tito Ortiz proved himself worthy of another shot in the UFC for the moment with a win over Ryan Bader, while Dennis Siver and Carlos Condit each inched a bit closer towards title contention in their respective divisions.
