Pili signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Pili served in a rotational role on the Seahawks' defensive line last year, finishing with 12 tackles (one solo) and one forced fumble across 13 regular-season games. He'll likely work in the same role in 2026 behind the likes of Byron Murphy, Jarran Reed and Leonard Williams.
Pili (knee) is not listed on Seattle's injury report for Sunday's game versus the Colts, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Pili hurt his knee in Week 14 at Atlanta, but it evidently was a minor issue, and he won't miss any time because of it. He should settle back into a rotational role on the defensive line behind 2024 first-rounder Byron Murphy and veteran Jarran Reed in Week 15.
Pili (knee) is believed to have avoided a major injury in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Pili suffered a knee injury in the contest, but head coach Mike Macdonald said following the game that the defensive lineman is "OK," likely suggesting it's nothing major. The defensive lineman's status at practice next week will be worth monitoring.
