Jarran Reed: Breaking News

Reed recorded two solo tackles and 1.0 sacks in Saturday's 13-3 win over the 49ers. Reed produced 11.5 sacks through the previous two seasons, but his workload decreased with the emergence of second-year NT Byron Murphy, leading to just 2.5 sacks during the 2025 regular season. His role should remain similar during the postseason, starting after the first-round bye.

Reed (wrist/thumb) was a full participant in practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. The defensive tackle was a limited participant Wednesday. Reed played on 45 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 14 after being activated from injured reserve following a five-game absence. He appears ready to suit up again this Sunday against the Colts.
