Wofford jumped out to an early lead at 11-6 with 12:32 left in the first half on 3-pointers by Karl Cochran, Spencer Collins and Jaylen Allen.

The Terriers held onto the lead until the 5:40 mark of the first half when Rashad Madden hit a layup to pull the Razorbacks in front 20-18. But it wasn’t long before the underdogs retook the lead on a Lee Skinner layup with 2:08 left in the half, putting the Terries in front 25-24.

After the two teams traded 3-pointers, Wofford entered halftime leading 28-27.

During an odd moment with 5 minutes left in the half, Arkansas guard Rashad Madden lost his shoe. As he ran up the court with one shoe on, a teammate threw him a shoe from the bench. It landed in front of an Arkansas player and referee, who halted the game. Arkansas was given a delay of game, but not a technical. Watch the shoe-throwing incident here:

Qualls Throws Down Huge Dunk

After the two teams traded the lead back and forth to start the second half, Michael Qualls slammed down a huge dunk to give Arkansas a 42-41 lead, but Wofford’s Jaylen Allen answered right back with a transition 3-pointer to put the Terriers back on top 44-42 with 7:04 left in the game.

Arkansas Takes Over Down the Stretch

Wofford led 51-49 with 3:49 left in the game. But then it was time for the SEC team to take control. Arkansas out-scored Wofford 7-2 in the final 3:30 of the game to pull in front for good.

Wofford Misses 2 Game-Tying 3-Pointers In Final 20 Seconds

The Terriers had two 3-point attempts that would have sent the game into overtime. Karl Cochran missed the first shot and Eric Garcia missed the second, at the buzzer, after getting the rebound on Cochran’s shot.
