Long two of the football giants in South America, Argentina and Uruguay will clash Tuesday for a spot atop Group B in the 2015 Copa America.

This is arguably the most anticipated match of group play at this year’s tournament. Uruguay won Copa America in 2011 and hasn’t finished worse than fourth since 1997. Argentina, meanwhile, hasn’t won since 1993 and was ousted in the quarterfinals in 2011, but with other-planet talent Lionel Messi and Manchester City star Sergio Aguero leading the way, La Albiceleste is undoubtedly a contender in Chile.

During the opening matches, Uruguay easily handled Jamaica, while Argentina let a 2-0 lead against Paraguay transform into a disappointing single point.

“Now we have to beat Uruguay,” Messi said. “Although that was something I always had in mind. We have to improve.”
