It’s a surprising women’s final matchup set for Saturday at Wimbledon.
Well, half of it is.
World’s No. 1 Serena Williams is seeking her 6th Wimbledon title and will face No. 20 Garbine Muguruza, who is making her first Grand Slam final appearance and has another upset on her mind.
They’ve met 3 times before in head-to-head competition, with Serena winning twice, most recently in the 2015 Australian Open. Muguruza’s victory came on the clay court in the 2014 French Open.
