Those wondering if Adrian Peterson could return to top form after being out of the league for a whole year have their answer after he looked sharp against the Lions last week.

Peterson’s Minnesota Vikings will host the San Diego Chargers in a Week 3 matchup on Sunday. The Chargers have been kind to Peterson; he set the single-game rushing record as a rookie in 2007. This will be just the third time in his career he will take on the Chargers.

Like the Vikings, the Chargers sit at 1-1 after two weeks. San Diego made several mistakes which cost them a win in Cincinnati last week.
