WATCH: Trevone Boykin Limps to Locker Room After Injury

Things keep getting worse for TCU fans. Quarterback Trevone Boykin left the game against Kansas early in the first half after appearing to suffer an ankle injury. Boykin was 5-of-8 for 58 passing yards in the game. The severity of the injury is not known, but we will continue to update you once more details are released.

FOX reported that Boykin has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

According to Sports Illustrated, the injury occurred on the Horned Frogs first drive of the game. Boykin left the game and headed to the locker room but later returned to the TCU sideline.

The injury comes one week after TCU suffered its first loss of the season to Oklahoma State. The Horned Frogs dropped to 15th in the College Football Playoff rankings after the injury.
