WWE is heading across the pond and taking over London on tonight’s brand-new RAW. Of course, in an event like this, it’s fair to assume that the WWE is going to pull out some pretty major stops to make the jump to England even more impressive.
And we’ve got the spoilers to prove it.
So, what’s slated to go down in the ring tonight? Well, Roman Reigns is still trying to silence the critics – and the onslaught of “boos” every time he steps in the ring, while the rivalry between Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose continues to grow. Read on for a complete look at the results for tonight’s RAW, which was taped earlier in England. The event itself will still air at 8 p.m. ET on USA, so read ahead at your own risk:
- Dean Ambrose got things started – and got a big cheer – before introducing Shane McMahon. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho eventually interrupt and this leads to McMahon making it a Sami vs. Owens and Jerich vs. Ambrose match for Payback on May 1.
- Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn in the ensuing match.
- Enzo Amore and Colin Cassdy defeated The Dudley Boyz to advance in the No. 1 Contenders’ Tag Team Tournament.
- WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns takes the ring to some fairly loud boos. He cuts his promo and reminds everyone he’s “the guy.” AJ Styles, naturally, interrupts, but, suddenly, Anderson and Gallows attack Reigns and take him down.
- Baron Corbin defeated Fandango. Corbin had previously sent Fandango into Dolph Ziggler so Ziggler came out and attacked Corbin ringside.
- WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz comes out with Maryse for a new segment of Miz TV. Cesaro is the guest, but he’s interrupted by Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day also appear and a match ensues.
- The New Day and Cesaro take on The Miz and The League of Nations. Fans chanted for King Barrett. Cesaro eventually gets the win for his team, defeating Sheamus one-on-one.
- Natalya, Saha Banks, Becky Lynch and Paige took down Tamina Snuka, Naomi, Summer Rae and WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte after Charlotte tapped out.
- The Vaudevillains defeated The Usos to advance in the tournament.
- Apollo Crews beat Heath Slater.
- Dean Ambrose used Dirty Deeds to defeat Kevin Owens in the main event. After the bell, Chris Jericho ran down and attacked Ambrose with a Codebreaker.
