The Orioles have swung a trade for former Yankees pitcher Jayvien Sandridge
The Baltimore Orioles have made a move to improve their pitching depth.
The Los Angeles Angels have announced that they have traded left-handed pitcher Jayvien Sandridge to the Orioles in exchange for cash considerations.
Sandridge was designated for assignment by the Angels ahead of Opening Day. Now, with this move, the 6-foot-5 lefty is heading to the Orioles. He will now provide the Orioles with another pitcher to work with.
Sandridge made his major league debut this past season with the New York Yankees. During his lone appearance with New York in 2025, he allowed one home run, two walks, and two earned runs in 0.2 innings pitched. He also struck out two batters.
