The Yankees will be playing another series without Aaron Judge, as he has been out since May 31 with an injury.
MLB.com wrote (on August 21): “Starting hitting progression, including hitting off a tee Aug. 20, which manager Aaron Boone said is going well. Previously, Judge had been performing swing-related pool exercises, playing catch, running outdoors and performing upper-body resistance training.”

This week, Michael Kay made a bold statement about the Yankees (via The Michael Kay Show).
Kay: “So, I’ll make this statement. If, and it’s a big if because they’re far from it, if the Yankees were whole, if they were not hurt, if Judge never broke his rib, the Yankees would steamroll their way to the World Series. Steamroll. Because the Yankees are an unbelievably compromised team and they keep beating these teams that are supposedly really good. How’s that possible? The Yankees don’t score runs. They don’t score runs. And I’m not saying that hyperbolically. They don’t score runs.”
Judge is in the middle of his 11th season at the MLB level.
He had been coming off a year where he won his third MVP award.
Before the injury, Judge (who is 33) was batting .248 with 53 hits, 17 home runs, 38 RBIs, 43 runs and five stolen bases in 59 games.
