MLB Social Media Reacts To Trade
Here’s what people were saying about the news:
@jowole1216: “I really like how good the new FO has been at building depth. Obviously 30 year old Zack Short won’t mean much to us at the MLB level, but at the cost of no players at all, it’s a really good move to strengthen the floor of this organization. Toboni has also done a great job at building a relationship with the Yankees which is good too.”
@NavyYardNation: “Paul Toboni’s been aggressive in building out depth in the Nationals system. From multi-piece trade returns to minors signings to AAA trades, it’s a full reset of the talent in this organization. Not cutting corners – making sure this thing is built out soup to nuts.”
@JoshWhetzel: “Short is a New York state native from Kingston in the Hudson Valley. He has 243 games of MLB experience with the Tigers, Mets, Red Sox, Braves and Astros.”
@TheRallyMullet: “The Washington Yankees are gonna be a threat in 2039”
