Bryce Harper finished the loss with one home run and two strikeouts in five at-bats.
Todd Zolecki of MLB.com wrote: “The Phillies lose their 10th consecutive game. It is the franchise’s longest losing streak since an 11-game losing streak from Sept 4-14, 1999. It is only their fifth losing streak of 10 or more games since 1972.”

After the game, Harper met with the media (h/t NBC Sports Philadelphia).
He made an honest statement.
Harper: “It’s not great. Obviously, not in the spot where we want to be… We can all say everything, the same thing every single day. Nobody wants to hear it. We just gotta win… Plain and simple… We just gotta continue to fight.”

Despite their struggles, Harper has been solid, batting .258 with 25 hits, six home runs, 14 RBI’s, 13 runs and one stolen base in 26 games this season.
He is in his eighth year with the franchise.
They reached the World Series in 2022 (and have made the MLB playoffs in each of the previous four years).

The Phillies are 8-18 in 26 games, which has them at the bottom of the National League East.
They are just 3-8 in the 11 games they have played on the road.
Following their series with the Braves, the Phillies will head home to host the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday.
