Ahead of Sunday’s game, Turner made a heartfelt post to Instagram for Mother’s Day.
He captioned the post: “Best Mommy in the whole word!! We love you @kristrn 😘”
Turner is one of the most popular players in the MLB, as he has over 500,000 followers on Instagram.
The 32-year-old comes into Sunday batting .244 with 40 hits, four home runs, 12 RBI’s, 24 runs and four stolen bases in his first 39 games.

Turner was picked in the fist round of the 2014 MLB Draft.
He spent the first six and a half seasons of his career playing for the Washington Nationals.
In 2019, Turner helped lead the franchise to the World Series Championship.
In addition, he stole 43+ bases in two different seasons with the Nationals.

Following Washington, Turner had a short stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The three-time All-Star is in his fourth season as a member of the Phillies.
Over 1,305 career games, Turner is batting .295 with 1,571 hits, 190 home runs, 653 RBI’s, 894 runs and 319 stolen bases.
