
On Tuesday night, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Dallas Mavericks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
The Hawks are coming off a 125-116 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jonathan Kuminga did not play in the game, as he missed his second straight.

UPDATE: Jonathan Kuminga has been ruled out (h/t Underdog NBA).
For Tuesday’s game, the Hawks have announced that Kuminga is being listed as questionable.
Brad Rowland of Locked On Hawks wrote: “Jonathan Kuminga (left knee bone bruise) is questionable for Tuesday against Dallas.”

Kuminga has been excellent since getting traded (via the Golden State Warriors) last month.
As a whole, he is averaging 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range in 23 games for the Hawks and Warriors this season.
The NBA wrote (on February 24): “Jonathan Kuminga SHINES in Hawks debut 🔥 27 points 9-12 shooting 3-4 from deep 7 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals”
The Hawks Are Rolling
Despite missing Kuminga in each of the previous two games, the Hawks have kept their six-game winning streak alive.
They are starting to show signs of a team who can make the 2026 NBA playoffs.

The Hawks are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-31 record in 64 games.
They are 15-16 in the 31 games they have played at home in Georgia.
Following the Mavs, the Hawks will play their next game on Thursday night when they host Michael Porter Jr. and the Brooklyn Nets.

Last season, the Hawks lost to the Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat in the play-in tournament.
During the 2021 season, the franchise reached the Eastern Conference finals.
Even though Kuminga is only 23, he brings experience to the Hawks due to the fact that he won a title with Golden State in 2022.

Dallas Mavericks Struggling
On the other side, the Mavs enter play as the 12th seed with a 21-43 record in 64 games.
They have won just two out of their last ten games (and lost seven in a row).
Following Atlanta, the Mavs will visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday.
