Kuminga had come into the night with averages of 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range in 23 games this season for the Hawks (and Golden State Warriors).

The Hawks are now 35-31 in 66 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of an eight-game winning streak (and 17-16 at home).
Following the Nets, the Hawks will play their next game on Saturday when they remain in Atlanta to host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
