The NBA wrote: “JOKIĆ OFFICIALLY AVERAGES A TRIPLE-DOUBLE IN THE 2025-26 SEASON 🚨

With 12 assists in tonight’s victory, Nikola Jokić has now officially averaged a triple-double on the season. He joins Russell Westbrook as the only players in NBA HISTORY to average a triple-double in back-to-back seasons!”

Jokic Among NBA Greats

Jokic is currently averaging 27.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, 10.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 57.2% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range in 61 games.

He is in his 11th NBA season (all with the Nuggets).

NBA Central wrote (before the game): “Imagine averaging 27.9 PPG, 12.9 RPG, and 10.8 APG on 67.4% TS — and finishing 4th in the MVP race. Jokić is on pace to become the first player in NBA HISTORY to lead the league in rebounds AND assists. He’s actually averaging more PTS, REB, and AST than he did in his last MVP season. This is one of the craziest MVP races in history.”
