This weekend, the Denver Nuggets will complete their mini-break and begin the 2026 NBA Playoffs with a first-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
On Saturday, April 18, the series will begin with a 3:3o PM ET tip. The game will be shown on Prime.
Following the NBA Play-In Tournament action on Tuesday night, the NBA announced the full first-round schedule. The Nuggets now know each day they’ll play against the Timberwolves, throughout the duration of a possible seven-game series.

The Denver Nuggets Finished The NBA Season Strong
It’s hard to argue against the idea that the Nuggets finished the season as one of the hottest squads in the Western Conference.
At the end of Sunday’s victory over the San Antonio Spurs, the Nuggets wrapped up a 12-game winning streak. They finished the season with a record of 54-28. The Nuggets placed 2.0 games behind the San Antonio Spurs.
The Nuggets and the Spurs could be on pace to meet again later in the playoffs, but the Nuggets know they certainly can’t overlook their first opponent.
Just last year, the Timberwolves swept the Nuggets during the regular season. Fortunately, the Nuggets got their revenge throughout the 2025-2026 season. Denver won three out of four games against the Timberwolves.
The first game will take place in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday.
