That’s a tough injury blow for DiVincenzo, who has been a critical piece to the Timberwolves’ early playoff success.

Heading into Saturday night’s Game 4 action against the Nuggets, the Timberwolves had all of the momentum in the series.

Despite the Wolves falling short in Game 1, Minnesota managed to steal the second game on the road, and protected their home court in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead.

DiVincenzo left the game with just one minute played. He had one assist and zero points on 0-1 shooting when he left the court.

Through the first three playoff games of the Timberwolves’ run, DiVincenzo averaged 31.7 minutes on the court. The veteran guard was shooting 51.6% from the frield, and hitting on 50.0% of his threes, producing 14.3 points per game.

Beyond his scoring, DiVincenzo averaged 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game against the Nuggets during the first-round series.

Throughout the 2025-2026 NBA season, DiVincenzo was healthier than ever.

For the first time in his career, the veteran guard finished the regular season by playing all 82 games for the Timberwolves.

Seeing the court as a full-time starter for 30.4 minutes per game, DiVincenzo posted averages of 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. The veteran guard shot 40.6% from the field, and hit on 37.9% of his threes.

Not only will DiVincenzo miss the remainder of the Timberwolves’ playoff run, no matter how far they go, but he’s likely to miss a large chunk of time throughout the 2026-2027 NBA season as well.
