It’s been quite the week for scoring in the NBA.
Earlier this week, the Miami Heat-Washington Wizards matchup included a performance for the ages by the big man, Bam Adebayo.
In the game, Adebayo scored 83 points, beating out Kobe Bryant’s second-most points in a single game record.
On Wednesday night, Sacramento Kings guard DeMar DeRozan made his move up the NBA all-time leaderboard. DeRozan passed the hoops legend, Tim Duncan, to move to 18th on the list.
Booker still has a long way to go, but the veteran has certainly established himself as one of the top scorers of his NBA era.

Seeing the court for 33.4 minutes per game, the veteran scoring guard shot the ball at a 45% clip, knocking down 32% of his threes to average 24.9 points per game.
He also produced 6.1 assists per game, along with 4.0 rebounds per game. Booker was named an All-Star for the fifth time in his career.
Against the Paers, Booker checked in for 43 minutes. He dropped 43 points on 14-31 shooting from the field. He was perfect from the free-throw line, making all 11 of his attempts.
Where The Suns Stand After The Pacers Matchup

GettyDevin Booker is leading the Phoenix Suns through a successful season so far.
A win over a struggling Pacers team allowed the Suns to improve to 39-27 on the night.
That victory marked the fourth in a row for the Suns. They have now won seven out of their last ten.
Phoenix is one game behind the sixth-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves. They could end up with a playoff spot, battling in a tight Western Conference.
After making some major changes in the offseason, notably cutting ties with Kevin Durant, the Suns weren’t expected to be contenders this year. They still have a lot to prove, but Booker is navigating the team through what could be considered a surprisingly successful year so far.
To no surprise, Booker is making history along the way.
