Immanuel Quickley is listed as questionable on the official injury report for the Toronto Raptors' game on Wednesday, January 14.

The Toronto Raptors will face the Indiana Pacers on the road on Wednesday, January 14, but they may be without a key member of the starting lineup.

Immanuel Quickley is listed as questionable with back spasms on the official injury report. He had 18 points and six rebounds on 44.4% shooting from the field and 20% shooting from three in a 115-102 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, January 12.

Quickley is having a solid season, averaging 16.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists while shooting 42.3% from the field and 34.7% from three.

Is Immanuel Quickley Playing Tonight?

Quickley has missed just one game this season due to illness, which makes his current injury status concerning for the Raptors. The team could be wanting to give him a rest day to prevent any possible prolonged injury.

Toronto won’t take any chances with Quickley if he is not feeling 100%. The Raptors will likely evaluate him in pregame warmups and then make a final decision on his status. If Quickley is out tonight, AJ Lawson, Alijah Martin or Ochai Agbaji could start in his place.

Sandro Mamukelashvili (illness) and Garrett Temple (back spasms) are also questionable for tonight. RJ Barrett (left ankle sprain), Jakob Poeltl (lower back strain) and Ja’Kobe Walter (right hip pointer) are out.

Toronto Raptors Trade Rumors

The Raptors are in need of some size on the interior to pair with Poeltl once he returns or an upgrade altogether at the center position. Toronto is rumored to be one of the more active teams as the trade deadline approaches.

Anthony Davis continues to be a name with a lot of buzz and, given the positive update he just received on his injured left hand, is likely to get moved before the deadline. The Raptors would probably have to send multiple first-round picks along with Barrett or Agbaji to get a deal done.

Domantas Sabonis is a name that has emerged more recently who would also be a good fit for the Raptors. With the Sacramento Kings reportedly looking to acquire a young guard to build around, Quickley could be the centerpiece in a trade for the Lithuanian big man, who should be ready to return from a partially-torn meniscus soon.

Nick Richards of the Phoenix Suns has also been linked to the Raptors. He is a cheaper option (making only $5 million this season on an expiring contract) than Davis or Sabonis and would require less in a trade.
