The Buffalo Bills face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild-card round of the playoffs on Sunday, January 11. Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Co. have won five of their past six games and look to keep the momentum going in their march toward the Super Bowl.
Allen, a finalist for the FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Year award, finished the regular season with 3,668 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, along with 112 rushes for 579 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The 29-year-old quarterback had an incredible year off the field, as well. After marrying Hailee Steinfeld in May, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together in December.
While Allen remains laser-focused on making his first-ever Super Bowl appearance this season, he also keeps an eye on his real estate portfolio. With a baby on the way, the famous couple had a change of heart on one of their properties.
Josh Allen Took His $8.5 Million California Home Off the Market 4 Days Before Bills-Jaguars Game

GettyBills quarterback Josh Allen warms up prior to the AFC Wild Card Playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 11, 2026.
Less than two months after the reigning MVP and Steinfeld tied the knot, Allen listed his Dana Point home for sale at $8.5 million. “He is believed to have spent a considerable amount of time during the offseason at the abode, soaking up the warm weather after a traditionally frosty Buffalo winter,” Realtor.com’s Kelsi Karruli wrote at the time.
“If [Allen and Steinfeld] are hoping to invest in property together, they may look elsewhere in California, specifically Malibu, which is where Allen popped the question to Steinfeld on Nov. 22, 2024.”
Allen plunked down $7.2 million to purchase the 2,808-square-foot abode shortly after he started dating Steinfeld in May 2023. The Bills star’s summer home, located in the exclusive gated community of Monarch Bay, includes access to the private Monarch Bay Beach Club, owned by the Waldorf Astoria. The resort offers an oceanfront golf course, a major draw for the quarterback.
The single-story house, built in 1962, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and sits on a quarter-acre lot. The family room features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that open to the backyard, which features an outdoor dining area and an above-ground hot tub.
Four days before the Bills-Jaguars playoff game, however, Allen and Steinfeld took the house off the market, Realtor.com reported. It seems the couple is happy having two SoCal homes.
Steinfeld owns a house in Encino, a suburb northwest of LA, about 80 miles from Dana Point. The Oscar-nominated actress purchased John Fogerty’s former home for $8 million in 2021, per Realtor.com. The 9,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a massive backyard with a built-in pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.
Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld Reside In a 31-Acre Home in Buffalo During the NFL Season
Allen moved into his custom-built house in 2022 after purchasing the 31-acre, $500,000 Orchard Park property in 2021, the New York Post reported. At the time, Allen was dating his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Williams, who explained the reason behind the property switch.
During an appearance on Kelly Stafford’s podcast, “The Morning After,” Williams said that the new home was “more private” and much bigger, so “all of our friends and family can stay and enjoy,” and most importantly, “We have a gate.”
Williams explained how fans used to swarm their old place, which was in the middle of the neighborhood. Allen bought his first home in Orchard Park shortly after the Bills drafted him as the No. 7 overall pick in 2018. The $659,900 home, located just a 5-minute drive from Highmark Stadium, is now worth over $1 million, according to the Post.
Allen inked a six-year, $330 million contract with a record-breaking $250 million guaranteed before the 2025 NFL season started.
