Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, are officially parents after welcoming a baby girl this offseason.
Steinfeld shared an update on their life as new parents earlier this month. “To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement,” Steinfeld wrote in the April 3 issue of her newsletter, Beau Society.
“I’m soaking in the newborn bliss, but I’ll still be writing here every week.”

While fans didn’t expect to see Steinfeld or the Bills star in public so soon after giving birth, the famous couple couldn’t miss one very special event — Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s wedding to Katie Hoofnagle at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa in Southern California on April 3.

Allen served as a groomsman at his best friend’s nuptials, as seen in photos shared by the Super Bowl champion. Fans got their first glimpse of Steinfeld after giving birth in a wedding video shared by cinematographer Shawn Yang on April 7.
One fan commented on X, “are we sure she gave birth? She looks good 😍.” Another person posted, “For someone who likely gave birth weeks ago (yeah they only just announced it recently), she looks absolutely gorgeous! What a glowing mama ❤️.”
It’s unclear exactly when Steinfeld gave birth. Steinfeld was still pregnant during the Academy Awards on March 15, so their baby girl arrived sometime between then and April 2.
Just like Allen and Steinfeld’s wedding last May, Darnold and Hoofnagle asked guests to wear an all-black, black-tie dress code, People reported. Other NFL stars in attendance included San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, his wife, Olivia Culpo, along with Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and backup quarterback Drew Lock.
“We had so much fun!” Darnold and Hoofnagle told People about their wedding. “We wanted our guests to dance the night away and from the second they entered we had our band playing to set the energy and it never stopped!”

When Allen reported to One Bills Drive for the first day of voluntary workouts on April 7, Steinfeld announced her new partnership with Ashley Luxe furniture that same day. In an interview with Architectural Digest, which took place just before she gave birth, Steinfeld opened up her home life with Allen.
On preparing the nursery, “I have been going back and forth on so many details — more than I care to admit, but it really has been such a fun part about getting ready for this new season of life.”
The 2024 league MVP and Steinfeld wanted their rooms to be “inviting,” somewhere “you could spend hours in and not get tired of.”
When it comes to eating dinner, “it’s a mixture of both” when it comes to dining in front of the TV or at the table. “The preference is not in front of the TV. I value a meal away from technology, and even if it’s just the two of us—[or] if it’s us with friends, with family—that time is so limited with the opportunity to have uninterrupted conversation over a great meal,” she said.
