The Green Bay Packers fans may no longer be able to watch their start edge rusher, Micah Parsons, wreak havoc on opposing offenses for the remainder of the 2025 season, but that does mean they will not continue feel his impact off the field.

And it seems like the three-time All-Pro may have gotten himself into some hot water with the notoriously dedicated fanbase after emphatically posting on X that Chicago Bears cornerback, Nahshon Wright, should have made not only the 2026 Pro Bowl Games – but been a starter.

“Nashone wright getting snubbed for first team pro bowl selection is crazy!!” Parsons wrote on the morning of the Pro Bowl’s selection release for the 2025 season.

Packers Fans Unhappy At Micah Parsons Praise For Bears CB

Although the reasoning behind the post was clear – Parsons and Wright played together in Dallas for three years, and the pair entered the league together as part of the same rookie class – this did not resonate well with the Green Bay fans, who were not overly thrilled.

“Micah I love you so much but please don’t defend bears players.” One fan wrote.

“Bro, we love you and your family 4 life but we CANNOT have you defending Bears players man!!” Another fan wrote.

Others replying to the post made the case that Parsons should have spent his time speaking out about his current teammates’ Pro Bowl snubs, which included the likes of quarterback, Jordan Love and safety, Even Williams.
“How about Jordan loves snub?” A different fan pointed out.

Wright is a cornerback on not only the Packers‘ biggest rival historically, but the team in fiercest competition with them in the NFC North at present.

Indeed, the Bears just managed a very improbable 10-point fourth quarter comeback win against Green Bay, scoring a field goal before successfully converting an onside kick that pulled the game into overtime, in which the Bears’ defense managed to shut down the Packers before Caleb Williams threw the game-winning 46-yard pass to DJ Moore for a touchdown.

So nerves have been on edge for both the team and the Packers fanbase, who know that they need to win both remaining games against the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings, alongside see the Bears fall to both the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions, to see any hope of winning the division for the first time since 2021.

Bears Respond To Parsons’ Unexpected Kudos

On the flip side, it was unsurprising to see that Bears fans thanked Parsons for his comments, bridging the gap between two franchises with a – now more than ever – heated rivalry.

“Man if anyone in the team deserved it, it’s Wright. Ballers know ball, heal up Micah!” One Chicago fan wrote.

“You even got Micah Parsons calling out the Nashon Wright Snub… last chance U guy, NFL practice squad guy, to leading the league in turnovers. Bears tax is real”. Another Bears fan posted in response.
