Los Angeles Rams star Davante Adams has been involved in trade talks this offseason. However, another, far more important matter required the six-time Pro Bowl playmaker’s attention amid that.

Adams shared the news on Saturday.

It comes as he enters the final season of his contract that he signed with the Rams in free agency during the 2025 offseason.

Adams is heading into his second season with the Rams, and he shared that he and his wife, Devanne Adams, are expecting their fourth child. “Adams shared a video of his crew on Instagram, set to Daft Punk’s “One More Time.”

“1 more time… [winking face emoji],” Adams captioned the video on IG on April 11.

Adams and his wife have two daughters and a son. They did not reveal the gender of their newest addition.

Teammates past and present flocked to the comments in celebration. From the Rams, Kevin Dotson said, “Congratulations man !! [confetti ball emojis].” Terrance Ferguson posted a similar, “Congrats brotha,” with Blake Corum and Quentin Lake both also echoing the message.

Adams’ friend and former Las Vegas Raiders teammate Derek Carr said, “Let’s go!”

Former Green Bay Packers teammate Elgton Jenkins chimed in with, “Congrats Tae.” Former NFL player Ryan Clark posted, “Love it!!”

Davante Adams Remains Mired in Trade Speculation

Despite the Rams pulling out of their trade pursuit of A.J. Brown, which is what sparked their exploration of an Adams deal, the latter remains a speculative candidate to be moved this offseason, possibly during the draft.

“News broke this week that the Los Angeles Rams were “further along” on a trade for Philadelphia Eagles WR AJ Brown than was previously indicated. We also know based on reporting that the Rams entertained trading away veteran Davante Adams if they would have landed Brown,” Turf Show Times’ JB Scott wrote on April 8, suggesting LA could target a receiver in the 2026 draft.

“Would an early wide receiver selection signal the end of Adams’ tenure in Los Angeles? The rumor may not be dead.”

The Eagles acquired Dontayvion Wicks from the Packers on Saturday, April 11.

That reignited speculation that Brown could still be available, particularly after June 1. It also follows Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report’s suggestion that the Rams get back in on a potential trade for Brown this offseason.

The Rams’ interest in Brown waned over injury concerns, though, and it remains unclear if that was just a smokescreen or if they are still willing to trade Adams.

Adams has not received any public assurances from the Rams, who discussed the possibility that he could be traded with him. Rams head coach Sean McVay said they decided they are better with Adams and are “glad he’s a Ram.”

However, McVay also previously said that the Rams had no plans to adjust Adam’s contract.

“Haven’t talked about anything like that. Feel good about where we’re at there,” McVay told reporters in March. “Expect him to be ready to roll. Expect him to even be better in Year 2, and that’s kind of where we’re at with that.”

Adams is set to count $28 million against the Rams’ cap in 2026 in the final year of a two-year, $44 million contract.
