The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the best general managers in the entire NFL. Howie Roseman has proven himself to be elite time and time again.
Once again this offseason, the Eagles have had a strong offseason. As they look to push back into Super Bowl contention, it’s hard to argue that the team isn’t better than last year.
Keeping that in mind, the A.J. Brown situation still has yet to be figured out. The trade rumors continue swirling and the overwhelming expectation is that Philadelphia will end up trading him. However, the move has not been finalized at this point in time.
With that being said, the Eagles have made a new front office move.
According to a report from NFL insider Mike Garafolo, Philadelphia has promoted Adam Berry to their Assistant General Manager position. He will work hand in hand with Roseman to keep improving the Eagles’ roster.
New Eagles Exec Adam Berry Has Interesting NFL Family Connection
Garafolo shared in his report that Berry currently has a brother serving as an NFL general manager. Of course, his brother is none other than the Cleveland Browns‘ Andrew Berry.
“The Eagles are promoting Adam Berry to assistant GM, sources tell me and @RapSheet , furthering a fast-paced climb in the NFL for the former Goldman Sachs executive,” Garafolo wrote on X.
“The brother of Browns GM Andrew Berry, Adam originally joined Philly’s front office in 2023.”
Perhaps this move will help Philadelphia pull off some deals with the Browns in the future.
What Are Philadelphia’s Expectations in 2026?
On paper, the Eagles should have no problem being a playoff team. In fact, they should be one of the best teams in the NFC.
NFL Spin Zone has predicted that Philadelphia will take home the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoff picture. Unfortunately, that prediction would mean the Eagles don’t win the NFC East division.
Instead, they are predicting that the Dallas Cowboys will take home division honors.
As for BetMGM, they are currently projecting Philadelphia to win the division.
Only time will tell what the 2026 season has in store for the Eagles. They have the pieces in places to make a run at a championship, but the team has to come together and gel. The Brown situation also needs to be figured out.
Expect to continue hearing a lot of rumors about Philadelphia as the offseason moves forward. Until the Brown trade is finalized or the Eagles decide to keep him, it’s a bit hard to know exactly what to expect from the team this season.
