2025 Laver Cup Day 1 H2Hs
The first match of the day session will see Casper Ruud and Reilly Opelka both look to give their teams an early lead.
Throughout their respective careers, the two men have played four times, with Ruud holding a 4-0 lead ahead of Friday’s match.
Despite that, the two notably haven’t played since 2022, when Ruud picked up a straight set win on clay in Geneva.
The second match of the day session will see 2025 Miami Open winner Jakub Mensik collide with American standout Alex Michelsen in what will be the pair’s first meeting.
Once the night session kicks off, Italian standout Flavio Cobolli will collide with teenage sensation Joao Fonseca.
The two have played just once throughout their careers, with Cobolli picking up a hard-fought win on grass in Halle earlier this season.
And last, but certainly not least, the Laver Cup Day 1 doubles match will see Carlos Alcaraz look to extend his Laver Cup doubles record to 2-1, as Jakub Mensik looks for his maiden doubles win at the tournament.
On the flip side, Taylor Fritz will look to push his Laver Cup doubles record to 2-0, while Alex Michelsen looks to pick up his first Laver Cup doubles win.
