Delpit registered six tackles (five solo) in Cleveland's 18-13 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Delpit finished second on the team in tackles behind Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah during Sunday's victory. The 2020 second-round pick has now racked up 10 tackles (nine solo) across the first two games of the 2024 campaign.

Latest Browns News
Grant Delpit : Effective versus Jaguars
Delpit registered six tackles (five solo) in Cleveland's 18-13 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Delpit finished second on the team in tackles behind Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah during Sunday's victory. The 2020 second-round pick has now racked up 10 tackles (nine solo) across the first two games of the 2024 campaign.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah : Leading tackler in win
Owusu-Koramoah racked up seven tackles (six solo) during the Browns' 18-13 win Sunday versus Jacksonville. Owusu-Koramoah has now led Cleveland in tackles in each of the team's first two matchups. The 24-year-old is currently on pace to surpass his career best 101 tackles and will look to add to his totals versus the Giants next week.
Jordan Hicks : Productive versus Jaguars
Hicks logged three tackles (three solo), with 1.0 sack, in Cleveland's 18-13 win versus the Jaguars on Sunday. Hicks was productive for the Browns in his second game with the team as he managed to record a sack, the 15.5th of his career. The 32-year-old will look to build off this strong outing next week versus the Giants.
Pierre Strong : Week-to-week with hamstring issue
Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Monday that Strong is viewed as week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports. Strong played 21 total snaps (10 offensive and 11 on special teams), returned one kickoff for 25 yards and rushed once for negative-five yards before leaving the Browns' Week 2 win with a hamstring injury. Expect D'Onta Foreman to work as Cleveland's No. 2 running back behind Jerome Ford while Strong recovers.
David Bell : Won’t return in 2024
Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Monday that Bell's hip surgery is season-ending, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Bell was carted off the field with a right hip injury in the third quarter of Cleveland's Week 2 win, and it now appears the 23-year-old wideout will be forced to miss the remainder of the 2024 season. With Bell undergoing season-ending surgery, expect Cedric Tillman and James Proche to see more work as depth pieces in the Browns' wide receiver room.
Ogbonnia Okoronkwo : Past head injury
Okoronkwo was cleared from concussion protocol Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Okoronkwo sustained a head injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win, but it appears he's already moved past the issue. The 29-year-old has yet to record a stat while playing 58 total snaps (37 defensive and 21 on special teams) across two games. Despite a slow start, Okoronkwo is expected to remain one of the Browns' top rotational edge rushers as the team takes on the Giants in Week 3.
David Njoku : Not ruled out for Week 3
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Njoku (ankle), who missed Sunday's 18-13 win over Jacksonville, hasn't yet been ruled out to play Week 3 versus the Giants, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Njoku is considered week-to-week due to an ankle injury sustained Week 1, but the starting tight end could have a chance to return as early as Sunday versus New York at home. Jordan Akins started at tight end Week 2 with Njoku inactive, but he was targeted just once in Cleveland's win over Jacksonville.
Alex Wright : Produces safety in win
Wright had three tackles, including a sack, in Sunday's 18-13 win over the Jaguars. Wright sacked Trevor Lawrence in the end zone to produce a safety, which upped the Browns' lead to five points late in the fourth quarter. He has five tackles and one sack through two games.
