Exits game early
Owusu-Koramoah has left Sunday's game against the Commanders due to cramping, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports. Owusu-Koramoah was active in Week 5 before being sidelined, compiling five tackles, including two for a loss with 1.0 sacks. He also had an interception. His departure will likely lead to Khaleke Hudson seeing extra work at weakside linebacker.
Leads Browns in tackles Sunday
Owusu-Koramoah tallied nine tackles (six solo) during Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Raiders. Owusu-Koramoah was the leading tackler for Cleveland on Sunday, and he has registered nine tackles in three of four games this season. He has played nearly every single defensive snap so far in 2024, and he's up to 34 tackles (22 solo) and one pass defended on the year.
Makes nine tackles in defeat
Owusu-Koramoah recorded nine tackles (four solo), including a tackle for a loss, in the Browns' 21-15 loss to the Giants on Sunday. Leading tackler in win

Strong debut despite loss
Owusu-Koramoah had nine tackles (six solo) and a pass breakup in the Browns' 33-17 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday. The linebacker signed a three-year, $39-million extension with the Browns in August after a breakout 2023 regular season in which he recorded 101 tackles, six passes defensed and two interceptions. Owusu-Koramoah and the Cleveland defense will try to get on track in Week 2 against Jacksonville.
Inks new deal
Owusu-Koramoah signed a three-year, $39 million contract extension with the Browns on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The 24-year-old had a breakout campaign in 2023, his third NFL season, crossing the century mark with 101 combined tackles, 3.5 sacks, six passes defended and two interceptions.
