Signs NRI pact with Mets

The Mets signed Pache to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training Monday, Pat Ragazzo of SI.com reports. Pache spent all of the 2025 season at Triple-A Reno in the Diamondbacks organization, where he slashed .251/.351/.389 with five home runs and eight stolen bases over 70 games. The 27-year-old has a lackluster career batting line of .181/.243/.275 over parts of five big-league seasons but is a gifted defensive center fielder.

Gets NRI from Snakes

Pache signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Thursday and received an invitation to spring training, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports. Pache spent time with the Orioles, Marlins and Phillies last season, finishing with a .552 OPS and 16 RBI across 183 total plate appearances. Barring a drastic turnaround at the plate in spring training, the 26-year-old outfielder will likely report to Triple-A Reno to begin the new season.

Outrighted to Triple-A

The Marlins outrighted Pache to Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday. Pache passed through waivers unclaimed after being removed from the 40-man roster and will remain in the organization for the time being. The 25-year-old is a career .181/.243/.275 hitter over parts of five major-league seasons.
