Joins big club

The Royals recalled Rave from Triple-A Omaha on Sunday. Rave failed to make Kansas City's Opening Day roster and has enjoyed a strong start to the season at Omaha, posting a .278/.395/.475 slash lien with 10 homers and 16 steals in 60 games. The 28-year-old will now join the Royals as outfield depth, taking the roster spot of Vinnie Pasquantino (hand).

Not breaking camp with KC

The Royals optioned Rave to Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday. Rave got his first taste of major-league action last season and posted a .196/.283/.307 slash line with four homers, 14 RBI, 18 runs and seven stolen bases over 175 plate appearances. Kansas City revamped its outfield during the offseason, leaving Rave without a spot on the season-opening big-league roster.

Back up with big club

The Royals recalled Rave from Triple-A Omaha on Thursday. Rave is absorbed the roster spot vacated by the injured Kyle Isbel (hamstring). He will mostly likely operate in a reserve outfielder role down the stretch for the Royals.
