Shannon will come off the bench in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Spurs on Friday. Anthony Edwards will replace Shannon in the first unit for Friday's game, and Shannon's minutes figure to dip with the demotion. In two games off the bench this postseason, Shannon has averaged 9.0 points and 1.5 three-pointers in 10.6 minutes per game.

Terrence Shannon: Breaking News
Another strong line in win
Shannon finished Monday's 104-102 victory over the Spurs in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 16 points (5-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 35 minutes. Shannon's emergence in Minnesota due to some key injuries has really helped the team remain on course. Through four postseason appearances, the guard is averaging an impressive 14.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers on 47.7 percent shooting after averaging just 5.6 points during the regular season.
Standout performance in Game 6 win
Shannon chipped in 24 points (9-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals across 35 minutes during Thursday's 110-98 victory over the Nuggets in Game 6 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Shannon received just his third start of the season, filling in for Ayo Dosunmu, who was a late scratch due to a calf injury. Despite a lack of big-game experience, Shannon proved to be a real difference-maker, leading from the front alongside Jaden McDaniels. Minnesota will now face San Antonio in the second round of the playoffs. The availability of both Dosunmu and Anthony Edwards (knee) will likely determine whether Shannon continues to play a sizeable role.
