Leah Still: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Leah Still is the 4-year-old daughter of Cincinnati Bengals star Devon Still. In an emotional Instagram post, Devon showed himself driving his daughter to a hospital in Philadelphia. He was driving her to have surgery on a tumor little Leah has, caused by her neuroblastoma, a type of pediatric cancer.

1. Devon Still Says ‘All of Her Tumor’ Has Been Removed

According to Devon, the surgery on his daughter took nearly six hours. At the end of it, the doctors were able to remove “all of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes.” He adds, it’s the “best news I’ve received in a long time.”


2. Leah Looked Happy as She Was Driven to Hospital

In a heartbreaking video post that went viral, Devon told his daughter:

I’m going to ask you again. Are you ready for today? I’m ready for today. You ready to get this cancer up out you? Let’s do it. Fist bump.

All the while, little Leah smiles along.


3. She Was First Diagnosed in June

On June 2, Leah Still got the diagnosis of neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer. Doctor’s gave her just 50/50 chance of survival. Just before her surgery, in Philadelphia, doctors had already said that her tumor had gone down.

5. Her Dad Threw Her a Pre-Surgery Party in a Movie Theater

Devon Still held a pre-surgery party for Leah and a movie theater that he rented out, reports Yahoo Sports. The party was held in Wilmington, Delaware, He received permission to leave the Bengals for the party. He had earlier admitted that his mind hadn’t been totally focused on football since his daughter’s diagnosis.
