I’m sure Janay Palmer isn’t enjoying life as much as Embiid is right now. The tweet is clear reference to former-NFL star Ray Rice who was shown on video punching his then-fiancee, Janay Palmer, out cold in an elevator last February. Rice has been cut by the Ravens in the fallout from the video.
But Embiid wants us all to have a sense of humor about the whole thing:

The idiotic remark is identical to the one made by Fox resident idiot, Brian Kilmeade, on the show Fox & Friends, the previous day. After there was backlash to that comment, Kilmeade spent a good nine seconds apologizing for saying people would “use the stairs” after seeing the video of Rice punching his now-wife.
