WATCH: Royals Pitcher’s Wife Gave Server World Series Tickets As Tip

Just a few hours before game time on Tuesday night, Katelyn Davis, the wife of Kansas City Royal’s pitcher Wade Davis, left an incredible tip for her server, Ryan O’Connor at Rock and Brews in Overland Park.

A ticket to Game 1 of the World Series.

Scott McDonnell of KMBC-TV went by the restaurant to talk to O’Connors Boss, Justin Olmstead:

“He was pretty blown away, a little bit shocked,” said Rock & Brews employee Justin Olmstead. “He came back into the office and said, ‘do you guys mind if I have the night off?’ And we looked at him, and he showed us the ticket he had in his hand. And we were blown away ourselves that he was able to have that given to him tonight. So we definitely accommodated him and let him have the night off to go celebrate with all the fans at the game tonight.”

The Royals ended up losing to the Giants 7-1, but perhaps the karma from this kind gesture will come back and help them win Game 2. Tune in tonight at 8:07 PM on FOX.
