WATCH: Brock Lesnar Re-Signs With WWE & Ends MMA Career

Several wrestling insiders and fans thought that Brock Lesnar would be leaving his sports entertainment career behind after his match at WrestleMania 31.

In a bit of a shocking announcement, WWE’s resident beast let it be known that he’s actually resigning with the WWE. The now 37-year-old Lesnar told ESPN’s SportsCenter audience that he’s “officially closed the door on MMA.” Lesnar went on to state that “It was hard. I re-signed last night (March 23, 2015) with the WWE.” Check out the initial announcement he made during a brief run-in with former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman in the video above. Right before his meeting with The Coach, he sat calmly and explained his reasons for leaving his Octagon career behind.
