WWE Latest News, Rumors, Spoilers & Predictions for May 11th, 2015

Stephanie McMahon, Triple H

WWE COO Triple H and WWE co-owner Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are…. finally set to return to Monday Night RAW for the first time in over a month.

Not much has changed since they last appeared on RAW (together). Seth Rollins is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and the company’s top rumor involves a certain plan to have him remain champ at Payback coming up this Sunday live on the WWE Network.

Here are WWE’s latest news and rumors from the past week (May 4th-11th):

Disclaimer: The following rumors are a compilation of WWE related news stories and speculation that circulated around the internet from the previous week. Each rumor should be taken as that, just a rumor, and nothing concrete or factual given the nature of WWE and the industry. All plans are always subject to change based on circumstances.

There Are Rumors of a Dean Ambrose Heel Turn at Payback

Dean Ambrose

This was the biggest rumor from the past week. Dean Ambrose was added to the main event at Payback, which seemed like a last-minute decision because for all purposes, it seemed like the main event was set in stone as a triple threat match with Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns up until about eight days ago.

The hot rumor is that Dean Ambrose will turn heel at Payback, join the Authority and make sure that Rollins successfully defends the WWEWHC. This would make NO sense as Ambrose has given no indications that he would turn heel besides wanting to get his hands on Seth Rollins.

according to Cageside Seats, Ambrose may not necessarily be turning heel, but breaking up the string of triple threat matches the WWE has had this year and plans to have this year. The WWE had one at the Royal Rumble and, “technically,” one at Wrestlemania; the WWE also plans on doing another triple threat match for Summerslam between Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins for the WWEWHC. By adding Ambrose to make it a four-way, it breaks up the triple threat theme to 2015.

Chris Jericho Possibly Returning Soon?

Chris Jericho has recently been doing the podcasts on the WWE Network in replace of Stone Cold Steve Austin. That may not necessarily be a coincidence.

According to PW Insider, Jericho is actually planning a return soon, which will involve him being with the company for a few months and taking part in house shows. Jericho returned last summer to feud with Bray Wyatt.

Jericho doesn’t mind working house shows — unlike Batista and Rock, obviously due to their hectic schedules — and working extra gives Jericho time to get into and stay in ring shape much easier.

Other Rumors:

– Charlotte Flair was backstage at Raw last week and was scheduled for SmackDown. The NXT Diva's main roster call up should be happening any day now, especially now that Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch are feuding over the NXT Women's Championship.

– The Undertaker is reportedly negotiating with the WWE on a new, updated contract and should have that done in the coming months. Taker is likely to wrestle his final match next year at AT&T Stadium for Wrestlemania 32.
