Jurgen Klopp has brought his successive style from Borussia Dortmund to Liverpool, leading them towards the top of the table. Klopp looks to bring his German influence to Liverpool in the January transfer window. Liverpool have a 7-3-1 record since Klopp took over on October 8, 2015, prompting the team to be more aggressive in the transfer window. The Reds are only six points behind Leicester City and Manchester City at the top of the table and are into the round of 32 in the Europa League. Marco Reus has been linked with Liverpool for years and with Klopp in place with the Reds, the Germany international may be on his way to Anfield. Reus emerged as a superstar under Klopp at Dortmund, scoring 53 goals and adding 45 assists in 121 games from 2012-2015. From the beginning of Klopp's tenure at Anfield, the 26-year-old Reus wanted a reunion with his former coach and even owner John Henry has actively sought Reus. Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has allowed Liverpool contact with Reus, who is at the top of the Liverpool transfer wish list. (Getty)

Bernd Leno may be the answer for Liverpool in goal as Simon Mignolet has been a disappointment. After silly mistakes have nearly cost Liverpool pivotal games, Jurgen Klopp may be turning to the young German Leno in net. Klopp has considered both Leno and Timmo Horn for the new goalie at Anfield and Liverpool will need to fight off interest from Real Madrid to get the signature of the 23-year-old from Bayer Leverkusen. Liverpool looks to sign Mignolet to a long-term contract, but speculation is that he is a secondary option for the Reds and the contract is just to appease the Belgian goalie. (Getty)

Leroy Sane would be another attacking midfield option for the Reds, with the 19-year-old adding another dimension for Liverpool. Sane is the flavor of the week in German football, as he has scored five goals in 21 games for Schalke this season and scored against Real Madrid in the round of 16 in the Champions League in 2014-2015. He has been in the news of late with a call-up to World Champion Germany and Liverpool have taken notice. The Reds looked to sign Sane while Brendan Rodgers was still in place at Anfield as well and teams such as Manchester United will also fight to sign Sane. (Getty)
