Brazil and Barcelona star Neymar is extremely close with his sister Rafaella. That’s evidenced by the fact that pair have matching tattoos. So everyone is wondering how he will react to the reports coming from his homeland that she’s dating his former Santos teammate Lucas Lima. Many of the Brazilian tabloids are basing the claims on photos from a now-deleted Instagram account that showed the two, along with many others, on vacation at Disneyworld and Universal Studios in Florida.
Here’s what you need to know about the love of Neymar, and possibly Lucas Lima’s life:
1. She Changed Her Name to Reflect Her Love of David Beckham

According to a report in Brazilian tabloid Globo, she doesn’t share a last name with her soccer playing brother. That’s because she loves David Beckham and wanted a name to reflect that love. Globo is the same tabloid that reported on Beckran’s budding relationship with Lucas Lima. In addition to the Instagram pics of the pair, the newspaper says that the couple were seen in Sao Paulo going to the movies together.
2. She Cameo’d With Her Brother in His Pre-World Cup 2014 Beats Commercial
You might recognize Beckran from a brief cameo she made in Neymar’s epic 2014 Beats commercial which appeared just before the World Cup in Brazil. Other cameos in that commercial came from Lil’ Wayne and LeBron James.
In addition to appearing in those commercials, Beckran also models for her family’s fashion label Elleven Wear. She often shares these modeling pics to some of her 1.8 million Instagram followers. She also has an extremely active blog.
3. Neymar Leans on Her for Support When He’s Not Playing Well

After Barcelona shockingly crashed out of the Champions League to Atletico Madrid in April 2014, Neymar’s performances for the Spanish giants had come under scrutiny. Just after that loss, Neymar posted a message to his Instagram page under a photo of him and his sister. It read, “My heart is yours, my love is yours, my smile is yours, my day, my night, my longing, my best company.” Neymar moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2013 for an undisclosed fee.
4. The Twitter World Was Not Supportive Neymar Got Her Face Tattoo’d on His Arm

In June 2015, Neymar got roasted on Twitter after he posted a photo of his new tattoo. The new ink was his sister’s face on his right arm. Meanwhile, she got his eyes tattooed on her back. He also has the Italian word for sister “sorella” on his left arm and she has “fratello,” brother, on her left shoulder.

Her rumored beau, Lucas Lima,Lucas Lima, is earning rave reviews in Brazil, much like Neymar did. Despite being slightly older than his possible brother-in-law, Neymar was 21 when he made the move from Santos to Europe. Lima has also begun to play for Brazil in 2015, a firm indication that his star is on the rise.
