Italy have been one of the best defensive teams at Euro 2016, but it could all slowly unwind in the quarterfinals against Germany.

Daniele De Rossi will miss the match with a thigh injury, and Thiago Motta will serve a suspension for yellow cards. In fact, there are 11 Italy players who will miss the team’s next match with a booking against Germany.

Italy have been solid at the back, but Germany have yet to allow a goal at Euro 2016. After a slow start in which they only scored three goals in the group stage, Germany cruised to the quarterfinal after a 3-0 win over Slovakia. They have no injuries, and are looking to avenge four straight meetings with Italy at major international tournaments without a victory. Joachim Low’s squad did beat Italy 4-1 in a friendly in March.
