WATCH: Chiefs Defensive Lineman Dontari Poe Throws TD Pass vs. Broncos

The Chiefs are going to the playoffs, and they capped off Sunday’s performance in style.

Up 17 points over the rival Broncos and sitting at their goal line, the Chiefs sent defensive end Donatri Poe into the huddle. Poe then lined up at quarterback, but instead of running straight ahead, he tossed a jump pass to Demetrius Harris for the game’s final TD.

Arrowhead Stadium, predictably, went bonkers.

26-year old Poe is listed at 6’3″, 346 pounds. He was drafted 11th overall by the Chiefs in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Memphis, and he has 13 career sacks.

This isn’t the first time Poe has appeared on offense. The Chiefs sent him in last season as a running back, and he plowed in a touchdown against the Chargers. He may now stand in NFL history as the biggest person to both rush and throw for touchdowns.

Straight disrespectful to the defending champs, who were eliminated with the loss. The Chiefs are now locked into the fifth seed, currently looking at a trip to Houston for Wild Card Weekend.
