Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017 Presenters Announced

The Pro Football Hall of Fame released the presenters for the Class of 2017 earlier today. Enshrinement Week in Canton, OH. takes place August, 3-6.

Here are this years inductees with their presenters:

Morten Anderson – Sebastian Anderson, Morten’s son

Terrell Davis – Neil Schwartz, Terrell’s agent and friend

Kenny Easley – Tommy Rhodes, Kenny’s high school coach

Jerry Jones – Gene Jones, Jerry’s wife

Jason Taylor – Jimmy Johnson, Jason’s coach with the Dolphins

LaDainian Tomlinson – Lorenzo Neal, LaDainian’s teammate with the Chargers

Kurt Warner – Brenda Warner, Kurt’s wife

According to profootballhof.com, Gene Jones and Brenda Warner are just the third and fourth wife of an enshrinee to serve as presenter. The others were Deanna Favre for her husband Brett in 2016 and Kim Singletary for Mike Singletary in 1998.

The presenters join the Enshrinees on stage at the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner on Friday, Aug. 4 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center and Cultural Center. Members of the Class of 2017 make their way through a gauntlet of Gold Jackets (living Hall of Famers) before joining their presenters, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Hall of Fame President and CEO David Baker at center stage for the presentation of their Gold Jacket. The Gold Jacket Dinner will be televised by NFL Network.

The following day, the presenters are featured in video presentations the introduce their respective Enshrinee during the Enshrinement Ceremony. The presenter then joins their Enshrinee on stage during their bronze bust unveiling. The Enshrinement Ceremony takes place on August 5, and will be aired on NFL Network and ESPN in its entirety of Saturday, August 5, at 7 p.m. EDT.
